In an exclusive interview with Elle magazine published on Wednesday, Eilish revealed that she's “ready to look more desirable” once she turns eighteen, but was apprehensive about how her fans would respond. “I know it would be such a big deal,” she said in an interview, adding, “and know people will say, I've lost all respect.” But according to the singer-actress, who is currently working on a new album, Eilish fans will be very pleased with her look: “They're going to be delighted,” Eilish said.
The singer-actor said that it was difficult to get out of the house when she first got the news that she was going to turn eighteen, but she had to get herself under control and calm down before she could actually go out with her hair pulled up and her clothes off. “I had to go through a lot of things because I don't want to be caught in my underwear at the club,” Eilish said.
When asked what she was going to do for her birthday this year, Eilish couldn't help but laugh and said she didn't want anyone to give her gifts – only one that was edible, such as a cake or a cupcake. “I'm not going to give a gift because I'm embarrassed of my looks anymore,” Eilish said. But as Elle pointed out, Eilish has always had a face that looks attractive and young, and her fans are no different.
As Elle pointed out, Eilish has a new album out and was the cover girl of the April issue of Elle, which featured her looking stunning on the cover. In the article, Eilish spoke about being the first female singer-actress to put her name in the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. “I am honored by the honor,” she said.
“I do feel confident that you can't lose with Billie,” one fan told Elle, and the singer-actress replied, “I know that. I've been able to win so many times over the years.” Eilish is sure she'll be back with a bang this year and keep winning as the next decade moves along.
“Billie Eilish fans are all right about me now,” said Elle's editor in chief. “I think she's got a great face and good luck!”
A few years ago, the magazine asked Billie Eilish if she would want to be on the cover of Elle UK. “I don't know,” she said, “because I haven't thought about it.”
The next time Elle fans ask about her life, the singer-actor said she's just living her life as she wants to – which is not too different from her fans, who want the same thing from their idols. In her case, it may be to be the perfect boyfriend, a perfect dress and a perfect hair style. So she'll have the same look on Elle UK, but she'll also have a lot of fun enjoying all the attention.
